Why should I trust you with my parents' wellbeing?
We don't ask you to. We start with a single didi visit so you can judge for yourself before any subscription. Every didi is background-checked, police-verified, trained for three weeks, and serves at most 15 families. Medical decisions always go through a licensed doctor, never AI alone. We carry professional-liability and medical-malpractice cover from day one.
Which Indian cities do you cover?
We launch in Pune, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, with Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad planned next. The emergency hotline, tax, and document services work nationwide today; didi visits are city-restricted. We'll tell you honestly at sign-up if your parents' city isn't covered yet.
What about data privacy? My parents' medical records are sensitive.
All data is resident in India and DPDPA-compliant. Medical records never leave Indian servers. The dashboard shows summaries, not raw documents. You control who in your family has access. You can request your complete Service Log or delete your account at any time. No data is sold or shared with third parties, ever.
Do you replace my CA, lawyer, or property manager?
No, we augment them. For tax and legal work we coordinate with vetted CA and lawyer partners whom you pay directly; we never take custody of your money. If you already have professionals you trust, we work alongside them. If you don't, we connect you to people we've vetted.
What if my parent has a real medical emergency at 3am?
The hotline is answered in under 60 seconds by a trained human, not AI. They triage with a licensed on-call doctor, dispatch an ambulance and your assigned didi in parallel, and call you within 10 minutes, wherever you are. The Tuesday-in-New-Jersey walkthrough above shows the flow.
How is this different from hiring a part-time caregiver?
A caregiver covers one parent, one task, one set of hands. NRIBandhu is an ops team: a didi in person, AI for daily check-ins, a doctor for medical decisions, a CA for tax, a lawyer for legal, an agent for property, and a vendor network for the rest. Software stitches it together so you see one dashboard, one bill, one place to ask what's happening.
Can I cancel? Is there a contract?
Month-to-month. Cancel anytime in-app. No setup fees and no annual lock-in. If we add a feature you don't want, downgrade tiers. If we get something wrong, the case manager owns the resolution.
My parents don't speak English or use smartphones. Will this work?
Yes, that describes most of our users. Our didis and AI check-in calls cover Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, and Punjabi, with more on request. Your parents never install an app or remember a password. You operate the dashboard; they just answer the phone when we call.
What does early access include, and what's expected of me?
Early access includes all features unlocked and regular product calls with the founders. In return we ask for honest feedback, a willingness to report bugs, and an introduction to a couple of other NRIs who'd benefit. Places are limited.
